Piano Adventure

Piano Adventure students will explore the world of piano playing, learning everything from basic notes and rhythms to familiar songs and melodies. This camp serves as a fun introductory class that leads nicely into private lessons.

Mini Musical Theatre

Grades 2-8 | Level: Beginner to Intermediate

Mini Musical Camp gives students the opportunity to create and perform a mini musical by weaving together scenes from a larger show. Campers develop skills in singing, acting, stage presence, and costume design, all while working toward a final performance in a fun and supportive environment.

Mother Goose Meets Dr. Seuss

JK – 1st Grade | Level: All

This camp will feature some of your favorite Mother Goose rhymes and is designed for young, budding performers. It will incorporate singing, dancing, acting and a whole ton of fun! There will be a special performance on the last day of the camp that you won’t want to miss.

Guitar FUNdamentals

Grades 2-5 | Level: Beginner

This introductory guitar camp is designed to ignite a love for all things six strings. Young guitarists will develop technique and fundamental music skills while learning fun songs, familiar melodies, and chords.

Summer String Thing

This bowed string camp focuses on the joy of making music together through collaborative, small-group playing. Students explore new repertoire, develop ensemble skills, and enjoy the shared experience of creating music in a supportive and engaging environment.

Summer Jam I

In this high-energy camp, aspiring musicians of all instruments come together to form bands. Campers explore rhythm, groove, and harmony while learning to play and listen as a team. Bands will select repertoire and prepare an exciting end-of-week performance that showcases their collaborative creativity.

Rhythm Explorers

Rhythm Explorers introduces campers to the fundamentals of rhythm through hand drumming, pattern building, and group playing. This is a great option for kids interested in playing drum set, as it teaches essential coordination skills!

Storytelling through Sound

Dive into the wonderful world of Orff instruments and learn to play xylophones, metallophones, and glockenspiels. Explore basic hand drumming techniques and explore percussion instruments used for special effects.

Not taking lessons over the summer? Join us for a week of music-making designed especially for current GRSM students who want to stay engaged and keep their skills sharp.
