Jam Band
The GRSM Jam Band program gives students the chance to play in contemporary bands, offering a fun and collaborative musical experience. Bands can feature any number of instruments including guitar, bass, drums, keyboards, bowed strings, and vocals/horns (instrument-only groups are welcome). Students will explore music from rock, blues, pop, funk, and folk, with the option to choose songs and even write original music with instructor support.
Students will develop teamwork, performance skills, and confidence by rehearsing and performing together. The goal is to create a supportive community where students enjoy making music together.
The program is open to kids 7+ who have completed at least one year of private lessons. Friends and siblings are encouraged to sign up together. After a brief placement session, students will be grouped by experience and age.
Guitar Ensemble

The group will focus on teamwork, learning to listen and respond to one another in real-time, while creating a unified sound. You'll gain valuable experience in ensemble performance, improve your musical ear, and enhance your confidence on stage.
